Integrity - Coaches must demonstrate and exemplify the utmost sportsmanship. An attitude of encouragement, team play, and mutual goal of promoting the best for all the club teams should be foundational his/her character.
Training - Ashland United coaches are required to get a coaching license. This requires attending a 3 hour educational training session. However, the training should not be a hindrance to new teams/coaches, especially those at the beginning stages of competitive play.
Poaching - As coaches and parents recruit players it is imperative that they be mindful of other teams. Coaches should have the mutual desire to see all the teams in the club excel. If you would like to have a player double roster or be passed on to your team, you must speak with the coach of the team of origin BEFORE talking to the parent or player. Poaching players will not be tolerated.
